MANCHESTER, N.H. — Manchester residents will cast their votes for mayor in six weeks, and while the race has been quiet, it could offer a glimpse of the future. “We've seen Jay use kind of the same short-term, low-return strategies that have been tried before and failed," she said. "So, we need fresh perspective in City Hall, and that's what I bring."

Spillers joins mayor’s race, says she will represent the priorities of the middle class
MANCHESTER, N.H. — “I tried to give the mayor the benefit of the doubt and to hope that, as a young person himself, that he would be able to relate to the priorities of the middle class here. He hasn’t done that,” Spillers said. “And in that moment I knew I had to do more. I had to step up in some other way – and this is the best way to do that right now.”
